Editorial policy

Who writes

Articles are signed by the MEMECOINY editorial desk, the team that prepares, checks and publishes them. We do not create fictional authors or personas. When a named person writes a piece, we show their name and role.

MEMECOINY editorial desk. The desk produces guides and market briefings from named sources. Every piece passes source checks, and a person decides when it is published.

How we choose and cite sources

  • Primary sources first: official documentation, project and network announcements, status pages, explorers and on-chain data.
  • Market data always names its provider and retrieval time. When data is stale or unavailable we say so instead of filling the gap.
  • Social media posts are leads, not proof. An unconfirmed rumor never appears in an article as fact.
  • A token is identified by its network and full contract or mint address, never by its ticker alone.
  • Every article ends with a linked source list. Numbers beside sections show which source supports the information.

How we use AI

We use language models to help draft articles and prepare the Polish and English editions. The model works only from a set of facts and sources assembled beforehand.

  • Every number and claim in a draft must trace back to a source. A draft that fails this check is not published.
  • Calculations such as percentage changes are done by code, not by the model.
  • Short market briefings are prepared automatically. They go live only if they pass source and confidence checks and fit within a daily limit. The desk reviews them after publication and corrects errors as described below.
  • Guides and longer pieces are checked by a person before publication. We do not bulk-publish AI-generated text.
  • The model may not add a quote, price target or investment advice that is not in the source material.

Updates and rechecks

Every article shows its publication date under the headline and, after a material change, its update date.

  • Guides are compared with their sources every week. Each one gets a full recheck at least every 90 days.
  • When a fee, network parameter or tool behavior changes, we update the article without waiting for the scheduled review.
  • Market briefings describe the state on the day of publication. We do not rewrite them later, but we do correct errors in them.

How we correct errors

Report an error to kontakt@memecoiny.pl. Include the article link, the passage in question and, if you can, a source with the correct information.

  1. We acknowledge the report, usually within two business days.
  2. We check the information against a primary source.
  3. If the error is confirmed, we fix the article and add a dated note describing the change.
  4. Every such correction is listed in the public corrections log.

Typos and minor edits that do not change the meaning are fixed without a note. We do not quietly delete articles with errors. If an article turns out to be wrong as a whole, we keep it with an explanation or withdraw it with a notice.
