Trench replay
The first 30 minutes of a real launch, trade by trade. You buy and sell on paper without knowing what comes next. At the end you see who was really in it.
How it works
- Data
- We walk the mint's signatures back in Solana RPC to the transaction that created the token (up to 10,000 transactions back). From the first 30 minutes we read the first 80 transactions in full and 60 more spread evenly. A buy or sell is a change in a wallet's token balance, and the SOL amount is the change in the pool's balance (bonding curve or AMM pool), so the price leaves out the buyer's fees and tips.
- Roles
- The dev is the wallet that signed the creation transaction. Bundle: buyers in the creation slot, or at least 3 different wallets in one slot within 10 slots of launch. Sniper: a first buy within 10 s of creation. The same thresholds as the token anatomy.
- Paper
- You get 1 SOL. An order fills at the price of the first real trade after your click, because in the trenches someone is always ahead of you. Fees: 2% (pump.fun bonding curve and the platform fee) plus a 0.001 SOL priority fee. Price impact uses the pump.fun curve model (30 virtual SOL at launch), so for other pools it is an estimate.
- The truth
- Dev dump: the dev sold at least 50% of the tokens they bought in the window. Collapse: today's price (or the window's last) is at most 10% of the window's peak. Bundles or snipers: that group bought at least 5% of supply. Today's price comes from DexScreener.
Read-only and no money. The replay teaches what a launch's first minutes look like, not what to buy now.
