One buy is one transaction from one wallet worth $10k or more. A big buy is a fact, not a signal: the wallet may belong to a bot, a market maker or the dev.
How we compute it
- Threshold
- A buy worth at least $10,000 in one transaction, at the USD value GeckoTerminal reports at the time of the swap. Higher thresholds ($25k, $50k, $100k) are a filter. Buys split into several smaller transactions are not added up.
- Which pools
- On each chain (Solana, Base, BNB Chain) we take the 8 most active memecoin pools from GeckoTerminal's trending list, one per token, leaving out SOL, ETH, BNB and stablecoins. A big buy in a quiet pool outside that list does not show up here.
- Windows
- 15 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours and 24 hours back from now. Data refreshes every 2 minutes, so the newest buys can show up with that delay.
- Wallets
- The address that sent the transaction. x2, x3 means the same address bought several times in the chosen window. A public address is not a verified identity: it may be a bot, a market maker, an exchange or the token's dev.
