Trenches
Also: the trenches
The trenches is slang for the phase in which tokens are just being born: launchpads, bonding curves and the first minutes after migration. People “in the trenches” scroll through feeds of new tokens, buy small amounts and hope that one in hundreds will multiply.
Trenches is a fitting image, because losses are the rule in this part of the market. Most tokens are abandoned within minutes or hours, and bots, snipers and creator-linked wallets hold the edge. This is also where rug pulls, honeypots and bundled launches happen most. Trading in the trenches requires fast but thorough checks on every token.
