CA (contract address)

Also: contract address, mint address, CA

A CA (contract address) is a token's unique address on a blockchain. On Ethereum, Base or BNB Chain it is a smart contract address starting with 0x; on Solana it is the mint address, the account that defines the token. Two tokens can share the same name, logo and ticker, but never the same address on the same network.

That is why memecoin threads are full of people asking “CA?”, and serious projects publish the address in their official account bio. You paste the address into a search box, explorer or aggregator to land on the right token, its pool and its chart. Typing just the name into a DEX search is the easiest way to buy a copycat.
